The Goal Zero Yeti 150 Portable Power Station is powerful enough to provide the needed energy for camping or emergency situations.

Description  Features
A plug-and-play, silent, fume-free portable power station for emergencies, camping, or wherever you need power. Your gas-free source of portable power to keep lights, phones and laptops powered on through any situation.
  • Portable wall outlet - Powers laptops, lights and phones anywhere you need them with a built-in AC inverter
  • Easy to carry - Convenient pop-up handle to take it along for the ride
  • Solar ready - Quickly refuel from wall, car or sun - car charger and solar panel sold separately
  • Powers your device in 3 ways:
  • USB - The USB port best charges all your medium size USB powered devices
  • 12V - The 12V best charges all your medium 12V powered devices
  • AC Inverter - Plug in your device just as you would the wall

The Goal Zero Yeti 150 Portable Power Station is powerful enough to provide the needed energy for camping or emergency situations. There are three ways of charging, the first one being of course from the Sun, which takes roughly 11-22 hours with the recommended Boulder 30 Solar panel (not included). The second way of charging is from the wall (AC Inverter included), which takes about 6 hours and the third one is from your car using 12V port (not included), which takes about 8 hours.

It can end up being quite costly to buy this and the other two items (car charger and solar panel) to make use of all 3 charging abilities, but if you find yourself going on regular trips where an energy source is important then it's worth the investment, as you never know where you might have to recharge from next.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO CHARGE YOUR DEVICE FROM GOAL ZERO POWER PACKS?

It takes the same amount of time to charge your device from a Goal Zero power pack as it does from the wall.

BEST-USE STRATEGY

When recharging gear with your Yeti 150, take note of the LCD Battery Display. If you plug in devices that have a high power requirement (a state-of-the-art gaming laptop), the charge level of your Yeti 150 can drop very quickly and you may not get exactly 150Wh of power. On the flipside, if you're recharging devices that draw power more slowly (a tablet), you will get closer to 150Wh from your Yeti 150. If you're experiencing shorter runtimes, you may want to check the device's power requirements.

COLD WEATHER USAGE

Cold temperatures (below freezing) can impact the Yeti 150's battery capacity. If you'll be living off-grid in sub-zero conditions, we recommend keeping your Yeti 150 in an insulated cooler, and connected to a power source (sola panels). The natural heat generated by the Yeti 150 contained in an insulated cooler will keep battery capacity at its highest.

UK Orders

We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday, on the same day. Free shipping is offered for UK Orders over £15 order value. The form of shipping will be at our discretion and will be at the most cost effective service. For most parcels this will be Royal Mail Second Class Post, the timescale for delivery is not guaranteed but Royal Mail aim to deliver second class post in 3-4 working days. Some parcels may require a signature.

Faster Tracked Services

Faster shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu, First Class post is available, as is Next Working Day Delivery. We can arrange Next Day Delivery for a Saturday (when the order is placed on Friday) - call us for charges on an individual basis (01740 661467).

EU Orders

We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm the same day. The default shipping is 'Standard Delivery'. This is an airmail service which does not offer tracking but is very reliable. We have learned from experience that transit times for non-UK orders can be very unpredictable. To geographically close countries in Europe the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can sometimes take a lot longer - we don't know why.

So, for EU Orders over £15 in value we offer FREE delivery, but the service time is unpredictable. If you need your order by a specific date you can opt for a faster service at the checkout.

Faster Tracked Services

Faster tracked shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu on the checkout page for options. Typically the service we can offer is 2,3 or 4 working days, if you require a faster delivery than is showing on the drop down menu please contact us at info@worldbackpacker.co.uk as we may be able to help.

Rest of World Orders

We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm the same day. The default shipping charge is 'Standard Delivery'. This is an airmail service which does not offer tracking but is very reliable. We have learned from experience that transit times for non-UK orders can be very unpredictable. To geographically close countries in the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can take a lot longer - we don't know why. Countries farther afield generally take longer but the spread of transit times is amazing, we have been notified of parcels arriving in Australia after 3 days and others taking a month and (rarely) longer than this.

So, while the shipping options for ROW are quite cheap the service time is unpredictable.

Faster Tracked Services

Faster tracked shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu on the checkout page for options. If you require a faster delivery than we are offering please contact us at info@worldbackpacker.co.uk as we may be able to help.
