Our smallest Black Hole Duffel is perfect for small loads and long weekends. Made with a burly, strong 100% recycled polyester fabric, 100% recycled polyester lining and 100% recycled nylon webbing.
Our smallest Black Hole® duffel. Tough and highly weather-resistant, it keeps your gear protected and easily accessible. The main compartment opens via a zippered U-shaped lid, which has a pair of zip-closing mesh pockets on the underside for easily lost items like your lottery ticket. A zippered exterior pocket holds all the stuff you need quickly. The padded bottom panel adds structure and helps cushion the load when your duffel gets the baggage-handler treatment.
Carrying options include padded, removable shoulder straps for a backpack carry, webbing handles with a snap closure, and haul loops at either end for linking multiple bags. Daisy chains let you lash additional gear to the outside. Made from 14-oz 900-denier 100% postconsumer recycled polyester ripstop (22% solution-dyed) with a TPU-film laminate and lined with 3.3-oz 200-denier 100% recycled polyester with a polyurethane coating. Both fabrics have a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.
Patagonia's Black Hole Duffel's are now made from 100% recycled durable ripstop polyester fabric with a water repellent finish to resist moisture, abrasion and wear. They're available in multiple sizes so there's something for every trip and all offer 3 carrying options; padded removable shoulder straps, webbing handles with a snap closure and haul loops at either end.
Each duffel features an external pocket for quick grabbing items and reinforced daisy chains to let you attach additional gear to the outside. The bags can stuff into their own pocket for easy storage, a little hard to do the first time because of the stiff material but it gets easier the more you do it. All but the 40L size feature internal compression straps to help get those few extra layers into the main compartment.
These tough, weather resistant duffels will keep your stuff protected and accessible where ever you go.

(Unfortunately, we are unable to ship Patagonia products outside of the European Area (defined as the European Economic Area plus Switzerland and the UK))
We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday, on the same day. Free shipping is offered for UK Orders over £15 order value. The form of shipping will be at our discretion and will be at the most cost effective service. For most parcels this will be Royal Mail Second Class Post, the timescale for delivery is not guaranteed but Royal Mail aim to deliver second class post in 3-4 working days. Some parcels may require a signature.
Faster shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu, First Class post is available, as is Next Working Day Delivery. We can arrange Next Day Delivery for a Saturday (when the order is placed on Friday) - call us for charges on an individual basis (01740 661467).
We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm the same day. The default shipping is 'Standard Delivery'. This is an airmail service which does not offer tracking but is very reliable. We have learned from experience that transit times for non-UK orders can be very unpredictable. To geographically close countries in Europe the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can sometimes take a lot longer - we don't know why.
So, for EU Orders over £15 in value we offer FREE delivery, but the service time is unpredictable. If you need your order by a specific date you can opt for a faster service at the checkout.
Faster tracked shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu on the checkout page for options. Typically the service we can offer is 2,3 or 4 working days, if you require a faster delivery than is showing on the drop down menu please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org as we may be able to help.

To geographically close countries in the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can take a lot longer - we don't know why. Countries farther afield generally take longer but the spread of transit times is amazing, we have been notified of parcels arriving in Australia after 3 days and others taking a month and (rarely) longer than this.
So, while the shipping options for ROW are quite cheap the service time is unpredictable.
