Thermarest's Trail Pro series of mats are the warmest in their 'Trek and Travel' range, they self inflate and are both comfortable and durable. Packed size is a bit off-putting for backpackers but this would make an ideal basecamp mat or on supported trips where packed size isn't an issue but weight is.
The best warmth-to-loft ratio of any self-inflating backpacking mattress.
The Trail Pro is a comfortable and easy-to-use self-inflating backpacking mattress, and is now lighter. We added air bolsters to shave precious ounces while keeping the mattress’ four-season warmth. The Trail Pro features our ultralight U.S. sourced foam, saving you weight and space in your pack without any sacrifice in comfort. New this year is a Regular Wide size to maximize width without adding length. Stuff sack included.
The Thermarest Trail Pro is the warmest self inflating mattress in the Trek and Travel series. It is a great 3 - 4 season mat providing comfort and warmth, though it is also the bulkiest when packed. It certainly isn't an ultralight mat, but it's not meant to be. It's a good choice for trips where weight and bulk are not so much of an issue but where durability and insulation from the cold ground is. The Trail Pro mats use 75D fabric on the base which is more than double what it is on an ultra lightweight mattress making it that much more durable and resistant to puncture.
The Trail Pro has a longer straight section in the torso area, this increases the width and reduces the gap when two mats are coupled together. Introduced in 2017 the Trail Pro mats also have an enlarged 'rail' around the perimeter, this is just significant enough to stop you rolling off in the night. The mat is self inflating, by simply opening the valve it will self inflate in a few minutes, but you'll usually have to give it a couple of breaths to finish it off.
Packed Size probably makes it questionable for backpacking but for basecamp use its a good choice, its warm, comfortable and durable - the Women's version is warmer again than the Men's.

From 2020, there is a new industry standard for measuring the R-value (level of insulation) of sleeping mats – ASTM F3340-18. This new standard is the sleeping mat equivalent to the EN rating for sleeping bags.
You can now directly compare the R-value of mats rated using the ASTM F3340-18 with confidence that is a fair and accurate comparison between mats. In simple terms, the higher the R-value, the warmer the mat.
In general terms, an R-value below 2.0 is for summer use, 2.0 to 4.0 is for cooler 3 season use and 4.0+ is for winter temperatures. This will be also be dependent on your sleeping bag, how cold you sleep etc. Please contact our customer service team if you need advice on choosing the right mat for your activity.

We have learned from experience that transit times for non-UK orders can be very unpredictable. To geographically close countries in the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can take a lot longer - we don't know why. Countries farther afield generally take longer but the spread of transit times is amazing, we have been notified of parcels arriving in Australia after 3 days and others taking a month and (rarely) longer than this.
So, while the shipping options for ROW are quite cheap the service time is unpredictable.
