Like a toprope on a cruxy pitch, our Capilene Midweight gives you the confidence to push your limits. Designed to manage the extremes of high-output exertion, our Capilene Midweight fabric hits the sweet spot of weight, breathability and wicking. Wear it alone or with additional layers to stay dry and comfortable during high-exertion activities in cool-to-cold weather. Constructed with Polartec Power Grid fabric, Capilene Midweight has a smooth face for easy layering and a brushed-back grid that aids in wicking as well as warmth. Solid-colored fabrics have 66% recycled-polyester content, heathers have 33% and both are treated with Polygiene permanent odor control. Features include a brushed elastic waistband for next-to-skin softness, gusseted crotch for mobility, functional fly and flatlock seams that minimize chafing. |

Patagonia's Capilene Midweight Bottomsare a synthetic baselayer with high wicking and fast drying capabilities. They have offset, flat-locked seams so they are comfortable to wear during high intensity activities under your normal pants in cold conditions or on their own when you're at camp.
The small grid design of the Polartec Power Grid on the underside of the fabric creates warmth and increases breathability while the smooth finish on the outside provides a slick finish. The wide waist band is really comfortable, especially when you've had them on for quite a while. The functional fly is a great benefit compared to many other baselayer bottoms. These are quite a generous fit and they're a bit too baggy for my liking as a baselayer but I'm sure others will prefer this fit.

We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday, on the same day. Free shipping is offered for UK Orders over £15 order value. The form of shipping will be at our discretion and will be at the most cost effective service. For most parcels this will be Royal Mail Second Class Post, the timescale for delivery is not guaranteed but Royal Mail aim to deliver second class post in 3-4 working days. Some parcels may require a signature.
Faster shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu, First Class post is available, as is Next Working Day Delivery. We can arrange Next Day Delivery for a Saturday (when the order is placed on Friday) - call us for charges on an individual basis (01740 661467).
We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm the same day. The default shipping is 'Standard Delivery'. This is an airmail service which does not offer tracking but is very reliable. We have learned from experience that transit times for non-UK orders can be very unpredictable. To geographically close countries in Europe the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can sometimes take a lot longer - we don't know why.
So, for EU Orders over £15 in value we offer FREE delivery, but the service time is unpredictable. If you need your order by a specific date you can opt for a faster service at the checkout.
Faster tracked shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu on the checkout page for options. Typically the service we can offer is 2,3 or 4 working days, if you require a faster delivery than is showing on the drop down menu please contact us at info@worldbackpacker.co.uk as we may be able to help.

To geographically close countries in the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can take a lot longer - we don't know why. Countries farther afield generally take longer but the spread of transit times is amazing, we have been notified of parcels arriving in Australia after 3 days and others taking a month and (rarely) longer than this.
So, while the shipping options for ROW are quite cheap the service time is unpredictable.
