Patagonia's most versatile baselayer with the greatest comfort range is made with Polartec Power Grid fabric with Polygiene permanent odor control and is Fair Trade Certified for sewing.
|A use and abuse must-have for groveling up a chimney pitch or scrambling high above timberline, our Capilene Midweight Zip Neck hits the sweet spot of weight, breathability and wicking. The essence of versatility worn alone or under layers, it keeps you dry and comfortable during high-exertion activities in cool-to-cold weather. Constructed with a Polartec Power Grid fabric, Capilene Midweight has a smooth face for easy layering and a brushed-back grid that aids in wicking as well as warmth. Solid-colored fabrics have 93% recycled-polyester content, heathers have 63% and both are treated with Polygiene permanent odor control. Features include a long center-front zipper for venting, full underarm gussets for unhindered shoulder mobility, elastic thumb loops to cover your hands, flatlock seams to minimize chafing, raglan shoulder seams and offset side seams that lie smoothly beneath pack straps, and a drop tail for better coverage.|
Patagonia's Capilene Midweight Crew Zip-Neck is a synthetic baselayer with high wicking and fast drying capabilities. It has an athletic fit with offset, flat-locked seams so it is comfortable to wear during high intensity activities for prolonged periods with the zip neck providing options for extra venting. A great trail running, hill walking or mountain biking piece.
The small grid design of the Polartec Power Grid on the underside of the fabric creates warmth and increases breathability while the smooth finish on the outside provides a slick finish. The zip neck is a small, lightweight zip to minimise weight while giving you options when you or the weather heat up. Elasticated thumb loops and a locker loop for drying are nice additional touches. The thumb loops are more comfortable than many other designs as they have enough stretch when you are moving your arms a lot during activity.

(Unfortunately, we are unable to ship Patagonia products outside of the European Area (defined as the European Economic Area plus Switzerland and the UK))
We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday, on the same day. Free shipping is offered for UK Orders over £15 order value. The form of shipping will be at our discretion and will be at the most cost effective service. For most parcels this will be Royal Mail Second Class Post, the timescale for delivery is not guaranteed but Royal Mail aim to deliver second class post in 3-4 working days. Some parcels may require a signature.
Faster shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu, First Class post is available, as is Next Working Day Delivery. We can arrange Next Day Delivery for a Saturday (when the order is placed on Friday) - call us for charges on an individual basis (01740 661467).
We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm the same day. The default shipping is 'Standard Delivery'. This is an airmail service which does not offer tracking but is very reliable. We have learned from experience that transit times for non-UK orders can be very unpredictable. To geographically close countries in Europe the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can sometimes take a lot longer - we don't know why.
So, for EU Orders over £15 in value we offer FREE delivery, but the service time is unpredictable. If you need your order by a specific date you can opt for a faster service at the checkout.
Faster tracked shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu on the checkout page for options. To geographically close countries in the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can take a lot longer - we don't know why. Countries farther afield generally take longer but the spread of transit times is amazing, we have been notified of parcels arriving in Australia after 3 days and others taking a month and (rarely) longer than this.
So, while the shipping options for ROW are quite cheap the service time is unpredictable.
