The Sherpa Nangpala Jacket is a down blend insulated jacket that provides a good amount of warmth, even when wet. Features a unique printed liner inspired by Himalayas.

Description  Features

The Nangpala Jacket will keep you warm and dry in the most challenging of conditions. Insulated with PrimaLoft® Silver, a revolutionary fabric which dries four times faster than down, water-resistant and able to retain 95% of its warmth if it does get wet, the jackets micro-grid, ripstop shell is woven especially tightly so that no feathers can escape. This garment is easily compressible and comes with its own stuff sack for transport when not being worn and a low profile media system with earbud guides and a media port means you can stay connected wherever you go.

The glaciated pass at Nangpa La (18,753 ft/5,716m) is the main trading route between the Tibetans and Sherpas of the Khumbu. This important pass is located West of Cho Oyu and separates the Khumbu and Rolwaling Himalayas.

  • Himalayan inspired printed taffeta liner makes for hitch-free layering
  • PrimaLoft® Silver insulation combines water-repellent down (60%) with superfine, hydrophobic PrimaLoft® fibers (40%) for enhanced performance over a wide range of conditions
  • Jacket is highly compressible and comes with its own separate stuff sack so you can travel light.
  • Hem opening can be cinched in via side adjusters
  • Includes our unique, low profile media system with a media port and earbud guides for ease of use

Sherpa's Nangpala Down Jacket is insulated with the unique PrimaLoft Silver 750 which is a blend of 60% down and 40% PrimaLoft Silver, which provides a good amount of warmth, even when wet. It's highly compressible for such a warm jacket which makes it an ideal throw -on layer for alpine climbing, trekking, or backpacking.

It has a unique printed liner which is inspired by the Himalayas and pays tribute to their heritage.

UK Orders

We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday, on the same day. Free shipping is offered for UK Orders over £15 order value. The form of shipping will be at our discretion and will be at the most cost effective service. For most parcels this will be Royal Mail Second Class Post, the timescale for delivery is not guaranteed but Royal Mail aim to deliver second class post in 3-4 working days. Some parcels may require a signature.

Faster Tracked Services

Faster shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu, First Class post is available, as is Next Working Day Delivery. We can arrange Next Day Delivery for a Saturday (when the order is placed on Friday) - call us for charges on an individual basis (01740 661467).

EU Orders

We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm the same day. The default shipping is 'Standard Delivery'. This is an airmail service which does not offer tracking but is very reliable. We have learned from experience that transit times for non-UK orders can be very unpredictable. To geographically close countries in Europe the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can sometimes take a lot longer - we don't know why.

So, for EU Orders over £15 in value we offer FREE delivery, but the service time is unpredictable. If you need your order by a specific date you can opt for a faster service at the checkout.

Faster Tracked Services

Faster tracked shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu on the checkout page for options. Typically the service we can offer is 2,3 or 4 working days, if you require a faster delivery than is showing on the drop down menu please contact us at info@worldbackpacker.co.uk as we may be able to help.

Rest of World Orders

We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm the same day. The default shipping charge is 'Standard Delivery'. This is an airmail service which does not offer tracking but is very reliable. We have learned from experience that transit times for non-UK orders can be very unpredictable. To geographically close countries in the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can take a lot longer - we don't know why. Countries farther afield generally take longer but the spread of transit times is amazing, we have been notified of parcels arriving in Australia after 3 days and others taking a month and (rarely) longer than this.

So, while the shipping options for ROW are quite cheap the service time is unpredictable.

Faster Tracked Services

Faster tracked shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu on the checkout page for options. If you require a faster delivery than we are offering please contact us at info@worldbackpacker.co.uk as we may be able to help.
