The ultimate cold-weather midlayer, our hybrid-design R2 Jacket provides exceptionally breathable, quick-drying warmth in our most compressible Regulator style.
For northern latitudes, frigid starts and cold weather, the highly refined construction and fabric of this Regulator® fleece traps heat and breathes freely to keep you warm and comfortable across a wide range of conditions.
The main body relies on high-loft Polartec® Thermal Pro® 63% recycled polyester fabric, which is superlight, wicking, compressible, stretchy and soft. R1® Polartec Power Grid™ high/low grid panels wrap each cuff and run along the underside of the arms and down the sides to improve fit, mobility and comfort range. The cuffs’ spiral-seam construction won’t constrict your forearms when you push up the sleeves, and the softly lined inner collar and kissing-welt zipper garage go easy on the neck and chin.
Other details: sonic/stitch seam construction on all zippers reduces bulk, offset shoulder seams stay clear of pack straps, zippers close the external pockets (one left-chest and two handwarmers, above harness line) and the handwarmers’ pocket bags double as stealthy internal mesh drop-in pockets.
Patagonia's R2 Fleece Jacket is a great cold-weather mid layer and technical fleece capable of performing across a wide range of conditions. The soft, moisture wicking and super stretchy fabric is fast drying, exceptionally warm and breathes freely.
The body of the fleece is constructed from Polartec Thermal Pro which is warm and super soft to touch. Fluffy is probably the best description to use. The side panels are made from stretchy R1 Polartec Power Grid fabric (just like the R1 jackets) which improves the overall fit, breathability and abrasion resistance of the fleece.
This slim fitting fleece features plenty of storage space with 2 roomy handwarmer pockets and one chest pocket, all of which are lined with a soft perforated fabric for extra comfort. As always Patagonia have really thought about their fabrics and methods used to minimise the impact it has on people and the environment

(Unfortunately, we are unable to ship Patagonia products outside of the European Area (defined as the European Economic Area plus Switzerland and the UK))
We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday, on the same day. Free shipping is offered for UK Orders over £15 order value. The form of shipping will be at our discretion and will be at the most cost effective service. For most parcels this will be Royal Mail Second Class Post, the timescale for delivery is not guaranteed but Royal Mail aim to deliver second class post in 3-4 working days. Some parcels may require a signature.
Faster shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu, First Class post is available, as is Next Working Day Delivery. We can arrange Next Day Delivery for a Saturday (when the order is placed on Friday) - call us for charges on an individual basis (01740 661467).
We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm the same day. The default shipping is 'Standard Delivery'. This is an airmail service which does not offer tracking but is very reliable. We have learned from experience that transit times for non-UK orders can be very unpredictable. To geographically close countries in Europe the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can sometimes take a lot longer - we don't know why.
So, for EU Orders over £15 in value we offer FREE delivery, but the service time is unpredictable. If you need your order by a specific date you can opt for a faster service at the checkout.
Faster tracked shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu on the checkout page for options. We have learned from experience that transit times for non-UK orders can be very unpredictable. To geographically close countries in the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can take a lot longer - we don't know why. Countries farther afield generally take longer but the spread of transit times is amazing, we have been notified of parcels arriving in Australia after 3 days and others taking a month and (rarely) longer than this.
So, while the shipping options for ROW are quite cheap the service time is unpredictable.
