Warm, windproof, water-resistant—the Nano Puff Hoody uses warm, incredibly lightweight and highly compressible 60-g PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Eco with 55% post-consumer recycled content, wrapped in a 100% recycled polyester shell and lining.
|Going light can work wonders, and a little security can stoke the fire when ambition outpaces the setting sun. For stuck-in-the-dark belays and minimalist bivouacs, our Nano Puff Bivy Pullover is light, windproof, warm and has the pared-downfeatures that help shift the odds in your favor. The water-repellent, compressible 60-g PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Eco—with 55% postconsumer recycled content—has a superb warmth-to-weight ratio and maintains 98% of its warmth, even when wet. The interlocking fibers of the lightweight, 100% recycled polyester shell and liner fabrics block wind, shed moisture and enhance the DWR (durable water repellent) performance. When the going gets cold(er), the kangaroo-style handwarmer pocket and a close-fitting, under-the-helmet hood with elastic binding bumps up the comfort level. The zippered drop-in torso pocket doubles as a stuffsack with a reinforced carabiner clip-in loop. With a deep venting center-front zipper, elastic-bound cuffs and a drawcord-adjustable hem.|
Patagonia's Nano Puff Bivy Pullover is an awesome piece of kit. The PrimaLoft Gold Eco Insulation provides top quality performance while doing an amazing job for the environment by using up to 75% recycled materials. Throw in the usual good looks from Patagonia and you're onto a winner. The Bivy Pullover has the extra pocket space and this accounts for some of the additional weight over the jacket or hoody versions.
PrimaLoft Gold is as good as it gets for synthetic insulation and this jacket is more proof of that. You can pack it down into the inside pocket, store it in your pack for when it's needed and most importantly, rely on it's performance. As soon as you put it on you can feel the warmth build up and the Gold material works amazingly well even when wet after you get caught out in the rain. The breathability of this isn't great and although great as a warm piece around camp it's not ideal when you are exerting yourself especially with the smaller zip opening.
With two good sized zipped hand pockets, one internal chest pocket, a drawcord hem and elasticated hood and cuffs this jacket still has plenty of features for everyday use. The weight, small pack size and high performance make this jacket an instant favourite.

To geographically close countries in the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can take a lot longer - we don't know why. Countries farther afield generally take longer but the spread of transit times is amazing, we have been notified of parcels arriving in Australia after 3 days and others taking a month and (rarely) longer than this.
So, while the shipping options for ROW are quite cheap the service time is unpredictable.
