Technical trail pants with an optimized fit and carefully thought-through details for the serious hiker made of 95% nylon (67% recycled)/5% spandex fabric with 4-way stretch, a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and 50+ UPF sun protection.
These durable backpacking, trekking and/or hiking pants are made of 95% nylon, with 67% recycled content to lessen the environmental impact, and 5% spandex with 4-way stretch. They provide 50+ UPF sun protection and have a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to shed moisture.
A gusseted crotch and articulated knees allow a full range of motion. Hand pockets, a pair of rear pockets and a side-leg bellowed pocket, all of which secure with zippers, carry the load. Best for lean-to-medium builds, Causey Pike Pants have a slim-straight silhouette that sits on the waist with a regular rise, fits not too loose but not too tight in the seat and thighs, then stays straight from knee to ankle.
Details include zippered bottom cuffs with expandable gussets to fit over boots, a cleanly finished fly and a waistband with a fully adjustable, integrated webbing belt that allows for a personalized fit. Inseam is 32".
Patagonia's Causey Pike Pants are a light, comfortable pair of trekking pants. The durable but comfortable material has DWR to shed light showers and does allow them dry well enough. The design looks clean and simple but they are a really good fit for hiking with clever lines giving you extra space and movement. These are slim-fit pants are best suited to lean-to-medium builds so they worked really well for me but if you are a bit larger you may find them a bit tight or restrictive.
There are a lot of great features with these pants that you only get to appreciate once you're out in them. The expandable, zippered bottoms are hidden neatly by the design but are really practical when you are heading out on the hills. There are four good sized, secure zip pockets and an integrated clip belt to add some extra practical features.

(Unfortunately, we are unable to ship Patagonia products outside of the European Area (defined as the European Economic Area plus Switzerland and the UK))
We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday, on the same day. Free shipping is offered for UK Orders over £15 order value. The form of shipping will be at our discretion and will be at the most cost effective service. For most parcels this will be Royal Mail Second Class Post, the timescale for delivery is not guaranteed but Royal Mail aim to deliver second class post in 3-4 working days. Some parcels may require a signature.
Faster shipping options can be purchased at the checkout - see the drop down menu, First Class post is available, as is Next Working Day Delivery. We can arrange Next Day Delivery for a Saturday (when the order is placed on Friday) - call us for charges on an individual basis (01740 661467).
We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm the same day. The default shipping is 'Standard Delivery'. This is an airmail service which does not offer tracking but is very reliable. We have learned from experience that transit times for non-UK orders can be very unpredictable. To geographically close countries in Europe the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can sometimes take a lot longer - we don't know why.
So, for EU Orders over £15 in value we offer FREE delivery, but the service time is unpredictable. If you need your order by a specific date you can opt for a faster service at the checkout.

To geographically close countries in the times are generally up to 4-5 days but can take a lot longer - we don't know why. Countries farther afield generally take longer but the spread of transit times is amazing, we have been notified of parcels arriving in Australia after 3 days and others taking a month and (rarely) longer than this.
So, while the shipping options for ROW are quite cheap the service time is unpredictable.
